Tip #89: What to Wear if you are Busty

An ample bosom can present challenges.  Here are a few simple tips:
  1. Busty women sometimes have to worry where a necklace falls. Detailed dresses allow you to skip extra jewelry.  They also give the appearance of a very neat and tailored look, which can be hard to achieve for someone with a big chest.
  2. A built-in bustier offers lots of support - enough that most women won't need a bra.
  3. Try a silhouette that accentuates your waist and takes the focus off your bust.
  4. Add a little sparkle with drop earring, which also draw attention from your chest.
  5. No Tent Dresses.  You will look pregnant. Very pregnant.
  6. Embrace Knits... they are your friends.
  7. Medium V-Necks Love You.  A fitted medium dip V-neck with short sleeves that hits a couple inches above your elbow will work every time. The little bit of extra sleeve length balances your top and a slight V is sexy without being trampy.
  8. No Empire Waist Lines. As with tent dresses, you will look pregnant. Or at least not nearly as good as you could. Dresses that nip in at the waist and then flair out (A-line or circle skirts work miracles) provide a nice shape and balance.
  9. Go With A Combo Dress. There are these magical dresses that are made from t-shirt material on top and another, more dressy, material on the bottom.
